Pamela Skarda, SB NOW Executive Director

The Sustainable Business Network of Washington (SB NOW) is pleased to welcome Pamela S. Skarda as our new Executive Director.

Pam brings 20 years of Washington, D.C.-based work experience in non-profit management, development, marketing, public affairs, and government/media relations. For the past five years, she has been President & CEO of a consulting firm specializing in public relations, marketing promotions, and Federal lobbying.

Her interest in the nexus of sustainability and business began as a consultant helping to launch a successful “green” coffee company into wholesale membership clubs. In addition, she has provided strategic marketing and sales direction to numerous eco-friendly companies.

Pam earned a double Bachelors of Arts with High Academic Distinction at the University of Kansas and pursued graduate-level studies in Government Relations at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. A native of Omaha, Nebraska, she currently makes her home in Bowie, Maryland.
